Monopoly go July 2026 Golden Blitz Update from U4GM
July 23 is the last chance to trade the two current Golden Blitz stickers: Shutdown from Set 17 and Lenny Leonard from Set 18. If you are also keeping an eye on the Monopoly Go Partners Event, it is worth sorting your sticker plans early rather than leaving everything until the evening. The countdown in your own game is the one that matters. Time zones can make community posts look confusing, and the event may close sooner than you expect.
Today’s pair is useful, but not for everyone
Shutdown and Lenny Leonard are the only gold stickers that can move during this window. Hank Scorpio and Mr. Sparkle were part of the vote, yet they are not tradeable today. That catches people out every time. They see a gold they need, assume Golden Blitz covers it, then find out it is still locked. Before sending offers, check the set number and the exact sticker name. It sounds basic, but rushed players often mix up similar-looking extras. The recent run has included Blinky and Sad Schmuck on June 28-29, Obviously Grilled and More Coffee on July 4-5, Kent Brockman and Pickled Eggs on July 12-13, then Homer’s Hoagie and Northern Lights on July 19-20. The newer pairs have leaned towards later sets, though I would not read too much into that.
Trade for progress, not for bragging rights
A five-star sticker can look like the better deal on paper, but that is not always how it plays out. If Lenny Leonard completes a set and gives you dice, shields, or cash straight away, it may be worth more than a pile of stickers you will not use this week. I have seen players hold out for a huge return, only to watch the timer run down with nothing agreed. It is frustrating, especially when a simple exchange was sitting there earlier. Say what you need in plain English. “Need Shutdown to finish Set 17, can offer Lenny Leonard” works far better than a vague post asking for offers. If both people are sending something valuable, use the protected exchange option. Save direct sends for mates you know well.
Keep the last few sends for a reason
Golden Blitz has its own sending allowance, usually up to five featured gold sends, separate from ordinary sticker sending. That does not mean you should fire them off without thinking. Make your own completion trade first. Then help a friend, chase a missing regular sticker, or keep one send free in case a better match turns up. Sticker Boom is also running on July 23, which can make pack openings feel tempting. It affects pack rewards, not the gold stickers allowed in Golden Blitz. Check the timers, collect packs when it suits your plan, and do not let a pack-opening session distract you from a trade already agreed. Players looking at a Monopoly Go Partners Event for sale option should still treat this closing Blitz window as a separate priority, because Shutdown and Lenny Leonard will not stay available once the clock expires.
