ASP 2052 Chemical Composition and High Speed Steel Grade Details

IMI Alloys India LLP offers ASP 2052 Powder Metallurgy High Speed Steel Round Bars with a carefully balanced chemical composition for demanding cutting and cold work applications. ASP 2052 contains approximately 1.6% carbon, 4.8% chromium, 2.0% molybdenum, 5.0% vanadium, 10.5% tungsten and 8.0% cobalt. This combination provides excellent wear resistance, toughness, hot hardness, machinability and grindability. ASP 2052 is also identified as 1.3253, S390 and HS 10-5-3-9. The grade is suitable for end mills, taps, hobs, drills, shaper cutters, broaches, fine blanking tools, dies and other high-performance cutting applications.
